They are interactive tools that are meant to help students learn any lesson that you may present to them. A manipulative can be used in many different ways. For instance, if you are trying to teach counting, addition, and subtraction, you can use a manipulative to your advantage. A hands on counter that comes equipped with blocks and a stand will make it easy for children to understand what you are teaching them. By being able to work in a hands on manner, students will have a much better chance of success.
