 When it comes down to it, manipulatives are much more than visual aids that can be used in the classroom. They are interactive tools that are meant to help students learn any lesson that you may present to them. A manipulative can be used in many different ways. For instance, if you are trying to teach counting, addition, and subtraction, you can use a manipulative to your advantage. A hands on counter that comes equipped with blocks and a stand will make it easy for children to understand what you are teaching them. By being able to work in a hands on manner, students will have a much better chance of success.
